Mike Force
Created in 1966, Mobile Strike Forces were located in each of the four Corps Tactical Zones and a fifth, which could be deployed countrywide in the event of an emergency, was stationed at Nha Trang. Comprised of indigenous personnel led by U.S. Green Berets, the Mike Force was primarily used as a reaction unit as well as conducting ambushes and combat patrols.
