Igloo White
Originally the name given to the technology used in the Laotian (Muscle Shoals) section of the
McNamara Line, the term ‘Igloo White’ came to represent the electronic infiltration barrier program as a whole. Igloo White consisted of 20,000 battery powered acoustic and seismic sensors planted along the
Ho Chi Minh Trail, the aircraft that relayed the signals and the Infiltration Surveillance Center in Thailand.
