The Temporary Equipment Recovery Mission was established in 1956 to supervise the recovery of U.S. equipment left over from the Indochina war and to improve the logistical capabilities of the Vietnamese military. Though not officially admitted, many of TERM’s 350 personnel were also used as supplementary
MAAG advisors.
