Poncho Liner

The lightweight olive green poncho liner was first issued to Special Forces in Vietnam for evaluation circa 1962. It was equipped with eight tie tapes so that could be tied inside a poncho to be used as a sleeping bag. The liner could also be employed as a blanket as it provided as much insulation as the standard a wool blanket, but dried far quicker and weighed considerably less.
