M1923 Ammunition Pouch

The cotton M1923 pouch held two 7-round magazines for the .45 caliber automatic pistol. The loop on the back of the WWII era pouch contained a male snap fastener that was used to attach it to the female fastener on the M1936 pistol belt. Later versions were equipped with M1956 slide keepers.
