The multipurpose net was made from olive green nylon, weighed 1lb and measured approximately 5ft by 9ft (60 by 108 in). Included with each net were two 14ft cords, which served as suspension ropes when the net was employed as a hammock. The multipurpose net could also be used for carrying loads, as a litter, cache or for trapping animals etc.
